Google has put together a list of lesson plans that utilize one or more of the Google Apps (Calendar, Docs, Sites.)

From the “why didn’t I think of that” files comes a new twist on an old story. A new blog is publishing the entire text of Bram Stoker’s Dracula in real time.

New Media and Teaching

The question is, how do we get to the point where all teachers are embracing the idea that proper use of technology can make learning more meaningful? The resources are out there. Example lesson plans exist. How do we get past the inertia? How do we convince teachers to seek out new ways of using technology?

When you or your students find images from the Internet to use in a project, you need to make sure you have permission to use them. Most of the images you find using Google Image Search are probably copyrighted and restricted. Luckily, there are many sources for free copyright friendly images. Use these sources for you own projects, share them with your students, and be sure to teach your students about copyright and fair use.
